Study Task 2 - Writing a Research Question [SAP]

After a week of thinking, decided on a rough research question that can help set a foundation on the things I could be researching about in the essay. As I wanted to focus upon social issues from the mind map, I based my question about social issues of Animated Music Videos from different cultures.

"How are social issues explored and represented in Animated Music Videos in Western and Japanese Culture?"

The proposed question can tackle both social and cultural aspects of animated music videos and let the audience know what the research topic will be about and what themes I'll be focussing on.

After getting feedback from the module leader, Ben, the question was then changed to "How are social issues explored through anime music videos?" I believe this change does narrow the question down and allow me to focus on one theme specifically. However, I would still want to refine it to maybe orientate it towards purely music and animation focussed making the theme a secondary research element.
