Study Task 3 - Reading and Understanding Texts [SAP]

For this task, I looked into a book that relates to social issues in youth. The chapter of the book I analysed is of Young People and Gender. By looking into this I wanted to see if I could find more in depth analysis of how and what social issues the youth are facing at this day and age. 



Through analysing the paragraph, I've found that majority of the text is related to mainly inequality distributed in society. This text specifies how our society, both adult and the youth are facing gender inequality. A prominent example was how although there are marginal class gaps, gender inequality is still viewed the same. Woman having to act 'feminine' and pretty; dusting themselves with makeup and acting with manners and if they divert from the norm they get excluded and isolated. Not only with females but males have to act masculine and act 'manly' to be included with the group of boys, all to exempt themselves from isolation.

Through doing more research and obtaining more examples of Animated Music videos  online, I have found and analyse various different types of Animated Music Videos that include social issues from both the western culture and Japanese culture.
